Height window cleaning

Seven storeys up, from a basket.

Curtain wall, atrium glass and the facades above a shopfront awning. Boom lift, scissor lift or water-fed pole depending on what the ground under the building will take.

How it is reached

The access decides how it is done.

The access decides the price

Boom, scissor, or pole

Most facades never need scaffolding. A telescopic boom reaches over a garden bed or a portico that a scissor lift cannot cross. A scissor lift is faster on a flat forecourt. A water-fed pole reaches four storeys with no plant on site at all.

Which one it is depends on what is under the building, and that is why somebody comes out and looks before a number exists.

What comes with it

Access and site requirements

Fall-arrest harnesses on roof edges, plant with its own certification, and where a lift sits on a footpath or a car park aisle, the traffic management around it.

Our cleaners are bonded and insured, and we can send the certificate of currency for the site.

From the call to the clean

One visit, one number, one crew.

Step 01

The site visit

We walk the ground the lift would stand on: slab or pavers, garden beds, awnings, and where a footpath or a car park aisle has to stay open around it.

Step 02

The quote

The plant, the traffic management around it and the clean itself, in one number rather than three contractors. The certificate of currency comes with it if your site needs one on file.

Step 03

The day itself

A harnessed crew in the basket and a spotter on the ground. The glass gets purified water and a squeegee, the same as at street level, just further up.

One contractor

Cladding and roofline, while the basket is up.

Most of the cost of a boom lift is getting it to site. If the glass is being done, we can price the cladding around it and the roofline above it on the same visit.

Somebody has to come and look.

Height, access, ground conditions and what is under the building. None of it is visible from a phone call, and all of it changes the number.
