Regular cleaning, DVA

DVA cleaning, at a published rate.

Our Department of Veterans’ Affairs rate is $159.80, covering the first 2 hours of a visit, then $79.90 an hour. Whether you are eligible for it is a question for the office and for DVA.

The two rates

DVA and standard, side by side.

We run two rate cards for the same visit: $159.80 covering the first 2 hours under the DVA heading, then $79.90 an hour, against $130 a visit under the standard one. Both are published, so you can put them next to each other before anybody rings anybody. If you want the difference between them explained, the office will explain it.

If you hold a DVA card and want to know whether it covers this, ring the office. If we cannot confirm it, DVA can. And if you are arranging cleaning for a parent or a mate rather than yourself, ring on their behalf: say whose house it is, where it is, and what they are finding hard to keep up with, and we will sort the rest out with you.

The visit itself works like every regular round we run. The same cleaner comes each time, which matters when the person answering the door did not book the clean and wants a face they recognise, and chemicals and equipment arrive with us.

Arranging it

How it works

Step 01

Ring with the card question

Have the DVA card handy and ring the office. Eligibility is between you and DVA, but we have had the conversation many times and can tell you who to ask and what to ask them.

Step 02

We set the round

A day of the week, a time that suits, and one cleaner assigned to the house. Whoever is home knows exactly who is knocking, this visit and every one after it.

Step 03

The house stays kept

The visits carry the house week to week: kitchen, bathrooms, floors, and the jobs that have become hard to do. If anything needs further attention, we return to address it.
