How much does window cleaning cost in Canberra?
Our window cleaning is $385 plus GST for the first 4 hours, then $87.50 plus GST for each hour after. Every window clean includes the tracks and frames around the glass, and glass above ladder height is quoted after we see the building.
The price is by the hour
A window clean is priced on time. The first block is 4 hours, and the hours after it are charged one at a time.

The hours depend on how much glass there is and how it is reached. Glass we can reach from the ground or a ladder is priced in the calculator on our window cleaning page, so you can see the hours and the total before you ring.
What a window clean includes
Every window clean covers the glass and what sits around it, with no separate charge for any of it.

- The fly screens
- The external cobwebs Two of our cleaners can work a pane together, one on each side of the glass.
How we reach the glass
The glass on an office or a shopfront is reached in one of three ways, and the way decides whether the job is priced by the hour or quoted.
If the glass is on the lower storeys and can be reached from the footpath
We wash it from the ground on a water-fed pole, priced by the hour.
If it is a balcony, a first floor window or a pane a pole cannot reach squarely
We do it from a ladder, still priced by the hour.
If the glass is higher than a ladder reaches
We clean it from a lift or on a harness, and quote it on site as height work.
Glass at height is quoted on site
For height window cleaning, we walk the building first, along with the ground a lift would stand on. That visit decides which lift the building needs, or whether a water-fed pole reaches it. The lift, the access and the clean are then quoted together.
When the boom lift is up, a spotter stays on the ground while the crew works from the basket. The same crew washes cladding and roofs, so the glass, the cladding around it and the roof above can be quoted on the one visit.
Who books it
Offices, retail stores, strata properties and commercial buildings book our window cleaning. On a strata cleaning contract the windows can sit with the common areas and the car park, so the owners corporation deals with one company. Window cleaning is scheduled to suit the site, and after hours where needed.
Every window cleaner is employed directly by us and clocks in and out on site. We send the certificate of currency on request, for the building manager's file.
