Blue Cleaning Group / Business / Retail and showroom

Retail and showroom

A shop is judged at the glass, and then at the floor.

Both of those are ours: the shopfront and the display glass, the hard floor inside it, the carpet, the back of house and the forecourt outside. National retail brands and a car dealership are among the organisations on ongoing contracts with us.

Front and back

Two halves of the same shop.

The half a customer sees and the half nobody is meant to, on one contract and one visit. The visit runs around trading hours, before open or after close, so no customer ever steps around a mop bucket. R.M.Williams, GUESS and Steve Madden are among the brands that run this way with us.

Front of house

Glass, then floor

Our window scope is windows, tracks, frames, fly screens, and external cobweb removal, and window cleaning starts at $96.25. We do it for offices, retail stores, strata properties, and commercial buildings.

Hard floors go on the rotary machine and carpet on the extractor, both of which are available for the visit.

Back of house

Stockroom to staff bathroom

The stockroom, the staff kitchen, the staff bathroom and the office behind the counter run on our published office scope: floors, surfaces, kitchens and bathrooms, bins, high-touch areas and common areas.

It is the same crew and the same visit.

Around trading hours

How a shop comes onto the books.

Stage 01

We walk it after close

We come when the shop is shut and walk it, display window to stockroom, against a ten-point checklist. The scope is set from what is on your floor, not from a template, and the visit time is set from your trading hours.

Stage 02

A deep clean before the routine

The floor goes back on the machine, the glass is done in one pass, the back of house is reset. The way the shop looks the next morning is the standard every later visit is held to.

Stage 03

The same standard at every open

The routine runs before open or after close, and a supervisor keeps checking it. When the fit-out changes, or a sale fills the floor with stock, the plan changes with it rather than working around it.

What a retail contract covers

Four things on a retail contract.

01The glass is the first thing seenWindows, tracks, frames, fly screens and external cobweb removal, on a set frequency rather than whenever somebody notices the marks on a display window.
02Hard floor and carpet, one crewA rotary machine for polished and hard floors, and a Polivac Predator MkII extractor for carpet. We treat pet odours, ink, grease, oil, gum, red wine and coffee.
03Back of house on the same visitStockroom, staff kitchen, staff bathroom and the office, on the same scope we run in an office building.
04The forecourt counts as the shopfrontA showroom forecourt and a dealership hardstand are washed with a petrol rotary surface cleaner, and a car park deck is swept with an LPG ride-on sweeper.

Tell us about the shop.

The address, the floor area, what the floor is made of and how much glass is at the front. That is enough to book a walkthrough.
