Two ends of the same building

The handover, then the routine.

A centre is a construction clean once and a contract clean every week afterwards, and they are not the same job. Both start with a walkthrough and a deep clean before the routine settles: how we work. The scope is written down with the interval on it, so there is a copy to file and a copy to show whoever asks to see it.

Before the doors open

Handover, room by room

New centres come to us at builder's finish. Floors go back on the walk-behind scrubber, glass and joinery are washed inside and out, and the low benches, sinks and hardware children reach are done by hand.

It is the same crews and the same machines we run for head contractors on their handover cleans.

Once it is open

The weekly contract

An ongoing clean covers floors, surfaces, kitchens and bathrooms, bins, high-touch areas and common areas, daily, weekly or fortnightly.

Some of the organisations on our books are cleaned daily, some weekly, some fortnightly, and the visit sits outside the hours the building is used.

Four things on an education contract.

01The rooms have to be emptyThe clean sits outside the hours the rooms are used, which on a centre means after close or before opening rather than whenever the crew is free.

02The high-touch surfaces are low downBench tops, sinks, door hardware and handrails at a child's height are named on the scope rather than left inside the word surfaces.

03The sanitising is ours to doWe run our own fogging machines and disinfectant stock, so nobody else is brought in for it, and we can hand over the product data sheet for anything used in the rooms: disinfecting and sanitising.
