Blue Cleaning Group / Homes / Spring and one-off

Spring and one-off

The clean that catches a house back up.

A maintained house needs a regular clean. A one-off is for when there is more to catch up on than a regular visit can carry.

When people book one

Four reasons people book one.

01Before an inspectionA routine inspection with two weeks’ notice, on a house that is fine to live in and needs more than the usual clean before somebody walks through it.
02Before Christmas, or after itThe clean before the guests arrive, or the one after they leave.
03Before a sale or a photographAn agent has booked the photographer for Thursday and the house needs to look like the listing.
04Once, to draw a lineEverything back to a known state, so a fortnightly clean afterwards holds it there.

Priced by the hour

Your priorities set the order of work.

A one-off is priced by the hour because no two catch-ups are the same size: $350 covers the first 4 hours, then $87.50 an hour after that. What makes it different from booking any cleaner by the hour is the order of work.

  • Before we start, you name what matters most: the oven, the shower glass, the skirting boards, the window tracks
  • We work that list from the top, so the hours are always spent on the things you ranked highest
  • Chemicals and equipment come with us, including the machines a domestic cupboard never holds
  • Tell us the deadline when you ring. An inspection or a listing photograph is a date we schedule against, not a detail

If you are moving out rather than staying, stop here and read the end of tenancy page instead: bond cleans carry a fixed price and an inclusions list the agent can hold us to.

Booking a one-off

How it works

Step 01

Tell us the house and the date

How many bedrooms, what has built up, and the day it has to be done by. Photographs of the worst of it help, and nothing you show us will surprise us.

Step 02

We say how many hours to book

You get an honest estimate against the published hourly rate before anything is locked in, so the budget is yours to set. Book fewer hours and we spend them at the top of your list.

Step 03

The house comes back to a known state

The crew works your priorities in your order. Most people follow a one-off with a regular round, because holding a clean house there costs less effort than another catch-up.
